It has both a crushing gravitas as well as a terrifying serenity that only some of the greatest artists are able to achieve. After listening to this album as a 17 year old kid, I left my room, walked up to my mother, and I said, "Mom... It's time. It's time for all of this bullshit to end. Time for you and dad to get kenny out of this shitty appartment. He just sits around all day like a lazy fucking couch potato and I'm sick of him." My mother just looked at me shocked as a single tear slipped down her cheek. That's when I knew I had to run... and there'd be no going back this time."
